The newly-in-love actress touched down in Los Angeles late last night after parting ways with beau John Mayer in London.

While she’s expected to film some post-production scenes for her upcoming comedy, Marley & Me, he’s headed to Milwaukee, WI where he’s scheduled to continue his North American tour.

Rumours are already swirling that Jen may join John in Toronto for his July 7 show.

Madonna attends Sabbath service at Manhattan’s Kabbalah Centre Friday night with her three children and ex, Carlos Leon. No wedding ring on her finger and no husband in sight!

The 49-year-old Material Mom has been dealing with her reported upcoming divorce to husband of seven years, Guy Ritchie.

Madonna’s kids — Lourdes, 11 1/2, Rocco, 7 1/2, and David, 2 1/2, were also spotted at the Kabbalah center.

Jennifer Garner is an Early Bird

I’d rather just kind of chill and take it easy.”

The day before (Thursday), Ben chatted with Nightline about his three trips to the Congo, where he visited refugee camps, warlords and hospitals.

“It’s definitely changed me,” Ben said. “It’s definitely been a part of… I guess a growing sense that I have a responsibility to do something with my life that’s other than just serving mileage in some way… You have a responsibility to your kid and also a responsibility to the world around you.”

A Kazakh supermodel who appeared on the cover of Vogue and Elle magazines fell to her death from the ninth floor of her apartment building in lower Manhattan yesterday afternoon.

Ruslana Korshunova, 20, was found on Water Street in the Financial District wearing jeans and a tank top, and witnesses, including one who spoke to diaday.com, say they heard a loud noise and then discovered that a body lay in the middle of the street. One witness tells TMZ that he originally thought the woman had been hit by a car.

Cops say they are investigating the incident.

While it seems like everyone is getting really way ahead of themselves it is being reported that John told a friend he might be looking at Jennifer in white. "She's the one - that's the girl I'm going to marry!" That's what a report claims that John Mayer is telling pals about his fast-track romance with "Friends" beauty Jennifer Aniston.

"John is officially off the market," a friend of the Grammy-winning rocker told The Enquirer in a report published this week. "He's had his fill of one-night stands and meaningless hookups. John believes that Jen is his perfect match, and he's telling his inner circle that he wants to marry her."

The adorable couple certainly is inseparable. People magazine has documented the couple's moves across Europe this weekend and reports are that they are spending all of their time together with Aniston starring as the most adorable A-list groupie going.

Uma Thurman is engaged to her Swiss multimillionaire boyfriend, Arpad Busson, aka Arki. Thurman’s rep, Stephen Huvane, confirmed the engagement saying:

"I can confirm she is engaged."

Thurman received a ring with an 8-plus carat center stone surrounded by 20 smaller stones. A source said:

"It’s the most beautiful piece I’ve ever seen. Arki did a wonderful job."

This will be the third marriage for Thurman, who has a son and daughter with ex Ethan Hawke, whom she divorced in 2003. Her marriage to Gary Oldman ended in 1992. Busson has two sons with former supermodel Elle Macpherson, from whom he split in 2005.

Paris Hilton Donates to Children’s Hospital

Only a year after she made her post-prison promise, Paris Hilton is following through and helping the less fortunate.

Paris recently made an “extremely generous” donation towards the construction of a children’s hospital in Los Angeles. Paris put in her own money to help build the new wing at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, according to hospital officials.

The money donated will specifically go towards a Children’s Centre for Cancer and Blood Diseases and will open in 2010.

JENNIFER LOPEZ is at the centre of a $5 million (GBP2.5 million) lawsuit after her pet dog allegedly attacked an air stewardess.
Lisa Wilson filed suit in New York's Brooklyn Federal Court on Thursday (26Jun08) claiming that the singer/actress' dog Floyd "lunged" at her when she walked past him during a flight in 2006.
Wilson claims she fell over after she was bitten and needed surgery for debilitating back pain, reports TMZ.com.

A Filming Location For “Top Gun” Gutted By Fire

Kansas City Barbeque, which was a filming location for Tom Cruise’s “Top Gun” was gutted by a fire yesterday. The fire started in an open cooking pit and then spread from there. How sad!

When owner Cindy Blair was asked about rebuilding plans she said, “Catch us tomorrow, we’ll have a plan then.” I imagine she was still in shock and the last thing in her mind was how to rebuild.

45 firefighters, six engine companies and two truck companies were able to keep the fire from spreading to an adjoining office building, and they had the fire out in 20 minutes, but there was no saving the restaurant. It was completely destroyed.

This restaurant was used for one of my all time favorite movie scenes ever. Remember the Top Gun bar scene where Tom Cruise sings to Kelly McGillis? Yep, this was the place of filming. Who can forget that scene. There was a sign in the restaurant that noted the Top Gun scene was filmed there.

The actress appeared to flash the dazzling ring at photographers as she left the Nobu restaurant in Santa Monica yesterday, indicating that her relationship with new beau Paul Sculfor may have taken a more serious turn.

So Cameron is possibly engaged to Jennifer Aniston’s ex (Paul Sculfor), and Jennifer Aniston is currently dating Cameron’s ex (John Mayer). You don’t usually get that kind of swapping .

Jennifer Aniston is smoking. The California based actress still looks absolutely gorgeous and has had no problem stripping down and showing off her fabulous body in a bikini with her new beau John Mayer. But is Jennifer still smoking cigarettes? The National Enquirer's Mike Walker says yes.

The veteran gossip reports that after kicking a years-long cigarette habit in late 2007 with a hypno-therapist's help, insiders cited by Walker in the print edition of the magazine say Aniston's hooked on Marlboro Lights again - and it happened right after her hookup with her hunky new rocker beau John Mayer.

Walker claims that Jen is furious with herself, freaking because "she's sneaking smokes like a naughty teenager and desperately ducking foe-togs to avoid her biggest fear - getting busted with a butt by nicotine phobic BFF Courteney Cox!" Aniston told pals there's an upside to smoking for her: It calms her nerves, kills her appetite and keeps her slender but she admits she's depressed about backsliding after a brief win against the habit that's gripped her for years.

Walker gives this burning question and seems to lay the blame on Mayer. He cites what he calls "An obscure Internet report" and it reportedly said that Jen was spotted sneaking a puff of lover-boy Mayer's cig while they were out on the town.

"Dark Knight' credits pay tribute to Heath Ledger

LOS ANGELES - Heath Ledger is getting a fond tribute from his collaborators on "The Dark Knight."

The end credits of the "Batman Begins" sequel include a farewell note to Ledger, who died in January from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs; and to special-effects technician Conway Wickliffe, who was killed last September in a stunt-car accident.

"In memory of our friends Heath Ledger & Conway Wickliffe," reads the tribute included in the credits, which went up Thursday on the Warner Bros. publicity Web site.

Ledger plays the villainous Joker in "The Dark Knight," who begins a reign of terror on Gotham City that pits him against conflicted hero Batman (Christian Bale).

Arriving in theaters July 18, the movie reteams Bale with director Christopher Nolan and returning co-stars Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and Gary Oldman. Joining the cast are Aaron Eckhart and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Beginning months before Ledger's death, his frenetic performance and demented-clown makeup have been a cornerstone of the marketing campaign for the film.

"I needed a phenomenal actor, but he also had to be someone unafraid of taking on such an iconic role," Nolan says in the production notes for "The Dark Knight." "Heath created something entirely original. It's stunning, it's captivating. ... It's going to blow people away."

Is John Mayer retiring early?

John Mayer has reportedly hinted the possibility of an early retirement from the music industry after completing his completing his summer tour. He told USA Today that he's not sure when he'll make another album.

"I'm not sure when I'll come back with another record. I feel like I've done everything I can do with this set of tools."

Perhaps making music isn't such a priority right now since things seem to be hot and heavy with his new girlfriend Jennifer Aniston.

We may never get to see the much anticipated Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie battle that many have written and talked about ever since the split with Brad pitt and Jennifer and his move to Angelina at warp speed. The real face-to-face at a pre-Oscars party was the real battle that many were hoping to see.

All three were scheduled for a face to face to face at "The Night Before" Hollywood benefit and Jennifer showed up in a little black dress ready for the meeting. Brad Pitt and Angelina bailed out and decided to take a pass.

But at least we were all set for a battle at the box office. According to a report from Life & Style Aniston and Jolie were set to square off at the box office on October 24 with their new movies. Jen's upcoming comedy, "He's Just Not That Into You," was scheduled to open the same day as Angelina Jolie's drama "Changeling".

But John Smith, a studio rep for Jen's film, tells Life & Style that Warner Brothers has just pushed Jen's movie back to Feb. 6, 2009. Looks like the catfight is off...this week, the magazine muses.

Nicole Richie to Guest star on Chuck.

Former Simple Life star Nicole Richie, 26, will expand her presence on the small screen this fall, when she appears in an episode of the NBC comedy Chuck, the network announced exclusively to PEOPLE. And Richie will be playing a role all too familiar in Young Hollywood: the Mean Girl.

According to NBC, Richie will play a “snarky and spiteful girl who tortured” actress Yvonne Strahovski’s character in high school. In the episode, airing sometime this fall, Strahovski’s character, Special Agent Sarah Walker, “must face her fears when she is forced to attend her 10-year high school reunion,” for a mission with costar Zachary Levi (Chuck) as her date.

Chuck’s executive producer Josh Schwartz says, “Nicole auditioned for the part and was very funny. This role is a great opportunity for her to show off her comedic skills and be diabolically evil and kick some butt. It’s going to be really fun.”

John Mayer is a stand up guy. Before those very first photos of Jennifer Aniston and John hit the World Wide Web, a report claims that John called his ex Minka Kelly just to give her a heads up on his hot new romance with the very A-list Jennifer Aniston. According to a report from Page Six claims the call was made to Kelly from Mayer.

According to one of Minka's confidantes she found the story of his new romance with Jen as strange as the source claims that John once told Minka that he didn't really get why Jennifer Aniston was so popular. He seems to get it now, though.

So will they make it? OK! Magazine has a love therapist take a look. "You have to be really confident to show such public affection and get away with it," love therapist Dr. Ava Cadell tells OK!. "Jen wants everyone to know she's found Mr. Right. She wants people to know this is a serious relationship."

The magazine adds that in fact, she may be ready to settle down and start a family. "Jen has not been this happy in a long time," a pal tells OK!. "She and John hit it off like a house on fire. It wouldn't be much of a surprise to anybody if they moved in together before the end of the year. And if they move in together, you can bet that there will be serious discussions about having children."

According to People.com, britney who has been slowly gaining visitation back inch by inch, has made such progress the Commish agreed in court today she's ready to have sons Jayden James and Sean Preston with her overnight.

We hear Britney's parenting coach Lisa Hacker was at the hearing today, and answered several questions from the Commish. Britney, who was all business in the courtroom, smiled as she left the courthouse.

They'll be back in court again July 15th.

The couple has been linked for several months, and the relationship appears to be serious - the former Friends star arrived in London from Los Angeles on Monday to join Mayer on his tour of the U.K.

But Mayer has been left fuming at internet gossips who allege he is only dating Aniston to further his own career - and is so angry he admits it makes him feel "dirty".

He says: "The moment I complete the circuit of having thought about it is the moment I feel dirty from the inside. I've never thought like that.

Jennifer Aniston has turned a whirlwind 24 hour visit to London into an armed police and paparazzi frenzy.

The former Friends star arrived at the capital's Heathrow Airport on Sunday (22Jun08) to visit boyfriend John Mayer, who is touring the UK.

Photographers waiting to greet the star at the new Terminal 5 building were left stunned when she was whisked past them by a huge security entourage comprising eight airport security guards, four policemen and two armed anti-terror officers.

Aniston checked into London's swanky Dorchester Hotel, where former South African president Nelson Mandela is also currently a guest, but had had enough of Britain by Monday and jetted out of Stansted airport on a private jet at 3.30pm - less than 24 hours after she arrived.

The actress was followed to the airport by the paparazzi, where one was cautioned by police for attempting to follow her into the terminal building.

Since hooking up Mayer and Aniston have become the top targets fo photographers, prompting Mayer to recently remark, "These moments (of being chased by photographers) that are not at all rosy, are seemingly earthquakes of frustration and anxiety".

Angelina Jolie recently admitted that she still loved her ex Billy Bob Thornton and a report from Life & Style claims that proclamation has current beau and baby daddy Brad Pitt reeling. One of the reasons given is the apparent ban for Brad Pitt on all things Jennifer Aniston. The report cites an insider that says that Jolie doesn't like Brad bringing up any of his exes, especially ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, and even ex-girlfriend Gwyneth Paltrow.

Pitt and Aniston were married and considered the 'Hollywood Golden Couple' when Brad went to work with Angelina on the 2005 film "Mr. and Mrs. Smith". By the time the movie hit theaters Jennifer and Brad had split and were in the process of getting a divorce and Brangelina (the coupling of Brad and Angie) was well underway. So what gives with the Billy Bob confession?

The report from the weekly entertainment magazine claims that Angelina's confessions in the revealing EW interview "didn't go over too well in the Jolie-Pitt household," says an insider close to the couple. "The Billy Bob stuff got under Brad's skin. He felt it was too much and told Angie he thought it was inappropriate, but she just brushed it off."

Brad's especially annoyed, the insider says, because Angie hates when Brad talks about his exes. "Angie gets crazy jealous and doesn't want to hear about (Jennifer) Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow or any other women Brad dated," the insider says. "That's why you rarely hear him mention an ex in an interview." Aniston usually pops into the picture when Brad and Angelina are promoting a movie and looking for a buzz.

A trailer for the film is expected to be released on July 2 with the film Hancock but prior to this, it will premiere online two days earlier. Quantum of Solace is due out in the UK on Oct. 31 and in the US on Nov. 7.

Comedian George Carlin dies in Los Angeles at 71

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Comedian George Carlin, a counter-culture hero famed for his routines about drugs and dirty words, died of heart failure at a Los Angeles-area hospital on Sunday, a spokesman said. He was 71.

Carlin, who had a history of heart and drug-dependency problems, died at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica about 6 p.m. PDT (9 p.m. EDT) after being admitted earlier in the afternoon for chest pains, spokesman Jeff Abraham told Reuters.

Known for his edgy, provocative material, Carlin achieved status as an anti-Establishment icon in the 1970s with stand-up bits full of drug references and a routine called "Seven Words You Can Never Say On Television." A regulatory battle over a radio broadcast of the routine ultimately reached the U.S. Supreme Court.

In the 1978 case, Federal Communications Commission vs. Pacifica Foundation, the top U.S. court ruled that the words cited in Carlin's routine were indecent, and that the government's broadcast regulator could ban them from being aired at times when children might be listening.

Carlin's comedic sensibility often came back to a central theme: humanity is doomed.

"I don't have any beliefs or allegiances. I don't believe in this country, I don't believe in religion, or a god, and I don't believe in all these man-made institutional ideas," he told Reuters in a 2001 interview.

Carlin, who wrote several books and performed in many television comedy specials, is survived by his wife Sally Wade, and daughter Kelly Carlin McCall.

There is a new baby in the Spears clan! Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge welcomed a baby girl Thursday morning.

PEOPLE confirms exclusively that the baby was named Maddie Briann.

"Just the family was there," says a source about the birth around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Louisiana hometown. "Everyone is healthy and happy."

Jamie Lynn's sister Britney, father Jamie and brother Bryan flew in Wednesday to be with her for the birth; her mother Lynne had been with her helping her get ready for the baby.

Since announcing her pregnancy in December, Britney’s little sister has retreated from the bright lights of Hollywood, opting for the comforts of her hometown of Kentwood, La.

With her Nickelodeon show Zoey 101 already ended, Jamie Lynn went home to prepare for the birth of her baby. The actress, 17, and Aldridge, 19, got engaged in March. Recently, the couple purchased a three-bedroom home in Liberty, Miss., where Aldridge went to high school.

Over the last few months, Spears has kept busy by passing her GED exam, preparing the nursery and attending multiple baby showers.

Jamie Lynn's Zoey 101 costar, Erin Sanders, told PEOPLE earlier this year that the actress will be a fun mother.

"She is just a very good-hearted and warm person," he said. "We would always hang out on the set and she is a lot of fun, so I think she's going to be an easygoing, fun mom."

Jennifer Aniston is eager to make John Mayer a very large a part of her world and according to a report from In Touch that might mean putting the rock and roll guitarist in the movies. "She's introduced him to a couple of directors and producers already." reveals a pal to the weekly entertainment magazine and the chatty source adds that John would like to act. "He would to it in a second," says an insider: "He's been asking Jen for advice."

A self-professed comedian who has made and posted his own videos on YouTube, John, 30, looks up to Jen, 39, the pal says. "He gets a little intimidated about how much she knows because she's been acting for so long." But Jen is a fan of John's, too. "She believes John is talented and can see him being in a movie," the pal tells ITW.

According to the report, she's not the only one that is interested. "I'd definitely meet with him," Rambo producer Randall Emmett tells In Touch. "He's obviously got a pretty big fan base already, and he's a charismatic guy."

Now, Jen, who started her own production company named Echo Films, is considering adding a professional collaboration to her personal relationship with John. "Jen believes that he has it all - looks, brains, strength and wit," says an insider. "She has been looking for someone like John for a long time."

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer enjoyed a romantic dinner in Beverly Hills, the night before his scheduled departure for a European tour.

"They were super affectionate and super sweet," a diner at Madeo tells PEOPLE. "They were kissing and rubbing arms."

Mayer is schedule to leave Wednesday for Europe for a 10-night tour starting in Denmark. He returns to the states in July. There was no word yet on whether Aniston would be joining him abroad.

At their dinner Tuesday, the couple had reason to be so touchy-feely. They spent last weekend in the lap of luxury at the seven-acre beachfront compound owned by Girls Gone Wild mogul Joe Francis, in Punta Mita, Mexico.

The couple, who traveled with a group of Aniston's friends, never left the grounds of Casa Aramara, which features a 1,000-square-foot gym and three houses spanning 40,000 square feet. They had their meals prepared by a five-star chef and were tended to by the estate's 15-person staff.

According to U.S. magazine reports, Aniston wanted to keep her He’s Just Not That Into You co-star Connelly from appearing on the cover of an upcoming issue of Marie Claire magazine.

But Aniston’s representative insists the rumor is “absolutely absurd,” adding, “There is no drama whatsoever.”

“Tom is a car nut,” the insider adds. “He has practical everyday cars, classic collectibles and high-powered sports cars like the Porsche 911 Turbo. Of course he loves every minute behind the wheel, but he’s not stupid and he’s not going to take any chances while he’s driving.”

Tom’s SuVs might be armored, but his Porshe 911 isn’t, and neither is his motorcycle.

"The bride looked wonderful in her dress and the groom looked sporty but elegant. No rings were exchanged, and the ceremony was very simple yet very beautiful," he said.

"Everyone was very emotional and there were a few tears from everyone - especially the bride. But Wayne was very composed.

"When the translator from London told them they were man and wife, everyone clapped and cheered," he added.

Speaking for the first time about reports that Joe Simpson was interfering with his relationship with Jessica Simpson and his business affairs – and that his parents did not approve of or get along with the Simpson family – Tony Romo released a statement to PEOPLE saying, "It's all laughable.”

Romo, 28, and Simpson, 27, have been dogged by rumors that her father has been meddling in their nearly seven-month-old courtship.

In his statement, Romo insisted that characterization is "so far from the truth."

Daniel Craig (40) was rushed to the hospital after he hurt his hand filming a fight scene on the set of Quantum of Solace Tuesday. Craig sliced open one of his finger tips. A source said:

"He went to hospital but there were no stitches. There was, however, an awful lot of blood."

A spokesman for production company Eon stated that Craig was taken to see a doctor as "a precaution."

Several days ago Craig cut his face so badly the wound required eight stitches. DANG! That could have ruined his career! A source said:

"The main thing now is that Daniel is back on the job. He’s a real trooper."

In April two stunt drivers suffered injuries in two separate lakeside accidents in northern Italy. A source said:

Yves Saint Laurent has died

French designer Yves Saint Laurent died today at the age of 71 years-old. Laurent is best known for revolutionizing women’s fashion over the past 50 years, as well as salvaging the Christian Dior collection after Dior’s sudden death in 1957, and saving that company from financial disaster.

Laurent became ill last week, fell into a coma on Wednesday evening, and finally died today. The man was a living legend in the fashion industry.

"I had a C-section and I found it fascinating. I didn’t find it a sacrifice and I didn’t find it a painful experience. I found it a fascinating miracle of what a body can do."

A sacrifice would have been going through normal labor, and having the baby vaginally. No pain means the epidural was in the right place, and pumping in some good drugs.

Angelina talked about the environment the children are being raised in. She said:

"We communicate to the point where we probably annoy our children. We have art around the house, we have books, we go to plays, we talk. Our focus is art and painting and dress-up and singing. It’s what we love."

That sounds great for Brad and Angelina, but are any of the books for kids? Do the kids have toys, and kid stuff, or are they immersed only in adult activities? Kids need a childhood.
