Although Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were in Las Vegas on Friday, the former couple managed to navigate the social scene without running into each other.

While Spears, 26, relaxed and sipped water in a cabana at the Cinevegas party at the Palms Place, Federline drank Jack Daniels at Strip House only a few miles away. And while Spears's night ended early, her ex kept the party going past 3 a.m. at Prive Las Vegas, where he was honored as "Father of the Year".

Looking dapper in a black suit and red tie, Federline, 30, arrived at Prive just before 1 a.m. with an entourage of about 30, including his divorce lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan. At a VIP table, Federline nodded his head to several hip-hop songs and paid little attention to the risqué fashion show that was happening on top of the club’s deejay booth.

At around 2:30 am, Federline headed to the back kitchen of the club, where he was presented with a “Father of the Year” trophy out of the public eye, an honor he told reporters "surprised" him.

Spears, celebrating Father’s Day weekend with her dad Jamie, ate fresh fruit and sunned herself for three hours Friday at the newly opened Palms Place pool. Later, she began her night with a low-key dinner with a friend and a member of her security staff at the Palms restaurant Nove, where she feasted on an artichoke dish.

After donning a short black cocktail dress, the singer attended the Cinevegas party with her father, Palms hotel owner George Maloof and his business associate Jon Gray. In a private cabana, Spears showed little emotion as she sipped water and chatted with her group for two hours.

Spears is reportedly staying the weekend in Las Vegas, while Federline is expected to head back to Los Angeles on Saturday to spend Father's Day with his children, including his sons with Spears, Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1.

London, June 13 : Wayne Rooney And Coleen Mcloughlin's nuptials may have cost them a staggering 3 million pounds but there was one thing that all that dough couldn't buy - good weather.


The couple left their homeland to become man and wife in the sunshine of Italy but ended up marrying under black clouds that descended over their picturesque Riviera venue.

As Coleen left nearby Genoa in her wedding gown, rain poured down and it continued as she and Wayne wed in a civil ceremony at the beautiful fortress of Villa Durazzo, overlooking Santa Margherita.

"She was smiling bravely, but it must have been her worst nightmare. It's been gorgeous all week, then it buckets down," The Sun quoted an onlooker, as saying.

Coleen and the Manchester United star tied the knot beneath a Louis XVI chandelier in side the Villa Durazzo, surrounded by about 15 close family and friends.

The 22-year-old was driven to the venue in a silver Mercedes people-carrier while the groom arrived moments before her, wearing a chestnut brown suit and no tie.

Santa Margherita deputy mayor Gianni Costa, a former footballer, con ducted the 20-minute service.

"The bride looked wonderful in her dress and the groom looked sporty but elegant. No rings were exchanged, and the ceremony was very simple yet very beautiful," he said.

"Everyone was very emotional and there were a few tears from everyone - especially the bride. But Wayne was very composed.

"When the translator from London told them they were man and wife, everyone clapped and cheered," he added.

Tony Romo finally speak out....

Speaking for the first time about reports that Joe Simpson was interfering with his relationship with Jessica Simpson and his business affairs – and that his parents did not approve of or get along with the Simpson family – Tony Romo released a statement to PEOPLE saying, "It's all laughable.”

Romo, 28, and Simpson, 27, have been dogged by rumors that her father has been meddling in their nearly seven-month-old courtship.

And there was more family bonding when, after spending a couple of days in Dallas, the singer and Romo shared a lunch date Friday with pregnant sister Ashlee Simpson and new husband Pete Wentz at a Chili's in Encino, Calif.

"Jess was giggling and grabbing onto Tony. They were both very natural and sweet with each other," says a source. "It was cute to see the sisters and their guys having such a good time."
