Jen treat for Aaron

Despite rumors of a romance, Jennifer Aniston is just pals with her Traveling co-star Aaron Eckhart, 39, but that didn’t prevent her from throwing him a lavish farewell dinner after their film wrapped.

On her last night in Vancouver, Jen, 39, treated Aaron and the crew to dinner at Sequoia Grill at the Teahouse restaurant in Stanley Park on February 16. “She was in a very good mood,” said an insider. Jen spent thousands of dollars on wine and a several-course meal, says the insider.

The next day, Jen was on her way to LA for the Oscar parties before jetting to Miami to shoot Marley & Me with her ex-boyfriend Vince Vaughn’s friend Owen Wilson. She was overheard saying that she couldn’t wait to get a good tan in Florida. “They ordered bottle after bottle of wine and tons of food. Jen also had her security team form a perimeter around the party to make sure that they would not be disturbed,” the insider says.

Go go Go Team Aniston!!!!!!!!!i luv this....

If there is a showdown tomorrow night at the pre Oscar's party between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston it had better be eyes front for Pitt. No clavage peeking at Jennifer! Jennifer Aniston Bikini Photos Spat: Angelina Jolie Furious With Brad Pitt

Pitt was impressed – but Angelina was furious when she found the picture, according to one insider cited in a story published this week in the National Enquirer. The magazine speculates, "It may have taken her four years, but Jennifer Aniston has finally gotten her revenge on Angelina Jolie!"

Since the breakup of her marriage, the former “Friends” star has publicly said very little about Brad Pitt and his live-in lover Angelina Jolie, taking the high road. Even as Angelina has given interviews about being receptive to talking with Jen about how she ended up with her husbands, Jen has held her tongue.

Showing her mischievous side Jen has acted particularly confident and flirtatious during her occasional business calls with 44-year-old Brad about their production company Plan B, which they formed while they were married. “She’s over any awkwardness with Brad and she’s pretty flirtatious with him these days,” confided the friend. This apparently is not making Jolie very happy as she feels threatened by the hard body star.

"When Angelina first hooked up with Brad, she was the exotic beauty with pillow lips and a wild, sexually adventurous lifestyle," a close friend of Jennifer revealed to the Enquirer. “Now it’s Jen who’s the goddess who’s really enjoying life and looks absolutely amazing. Meanwhile, Angelina has her hands full with her kids, her movies haven’t done as well as she’d hoped and she’s overwhelmed with her humanitarian work.”

The magazine notes that not long ago, Angelina – whose recent movie, “A Mighty Heart” was a box-office dud –said she’d welcome the chance to meet Jennifer. But now it’s Jen who relishes a possible showdown. “Jen used to be intimidated by Angelina, but now she’s feeling so good about herself that she wouldn’t shy away from meeting her anymore. She’s ready to take on the world!” said the friend.

The magazine notes that the “Break-up” star has been working out every morning, doing yoga and Pilates exercises, and eating a healthy diet of fish and vegetables to stay in shape, said the friend.

“When Brad saw the pictures, he wasn’t jealous Jen was with other guys, but he was knocked out by how great she looked,” said the friend. “The problem was that Angelina saw his reaction to the photos and she was hurt.”

J.Lo deliver twins in New York

Reuters
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony became the parents of twins early on Friday in a New York-area hospital, according to People magazine, which reportedly paid upward of $6 million for the photo rights.

The boy and girl, delivered in a Long Island, New York, hospital, were the first for the 38-year-old actress and singer, whose efforts to become pregnant have filled tabloid pages in the past few years. Anthony, a 39-year-old salsa singer, has a daughter and two sons from two previous relationships.

Lopez did not confirm her much-rumored pregnancy until early November, when she announced the news to a Miami audience while on a concert tour with her husband.

The trade publication Advertising Age reported earlier this week that People magazine was poised to pay the couple between $4 million and $6 million for exclusive U.S. rights to the first photos of the twins.

Jennifer Lopez 'checks in to hospital'

a heavily pregnant J.Lo

Jennifer Lopez has been taken to the private hospital where she intends to have her twins, it has been reported.

An American showbusiness website said a private room at North Shore University Hospital in Long Island, New York, is finally occupied, having been left empty for two weeks in preparation for the star to give birth.

A recent patient at the hospital told pagesix.com that during her visit, staff were rushing about excitedly and saying: "J.Lo is here".

Staff at North Shore University Hospital earlier revealed how a "suite" was been prepared for Lopez which included a brown leather sofa.

Lopez announced her pregnancy to 10,000 fans at a stadium in Miami last November.

The 38-year-old is expecting the twins with husband Marc Anthony.

Talented Cruz Beckham

His parents know a thing or two about playing up to the cameras. And so, it seems, does David and Victoria Beckham's three-year-old son.

At the Spice Girls show in New York on Monday, Cruz broke into an impromptu breakdance routine.

The group had taken their children up on stage during the song Mama. Midway through, Cruz started body popping to the music.

As his movements became increasingly energetic, cheers went up from the audience.

Then, with all eyes on him, he performed a series of front rolls across the stage and spun round on his head.

The routine ended with him powering himself around like a plane rotor on the floor as his mother looked on astonished.

Unlike Cruz, his brothers Brooklyn and Romeo did not appear so comfortable on stage.

They were joined by Melanie Brown's daughter Angel Iris, ten months, Geri Halliwell's 19-month-old daughter Bluebell Madonna and Emma Bunton's son Beau, six months.

In the face of dwindling audiences, cancelled shows and furious rifts, the Spice Girls have taken to dragging their children up on stage in a rather laboured show of unity.

The children had all been watching their mothers perform from the front-row when they were pulled up in front of the crowd in New York.

Not wanting to be outdone by Mrs Beckham, Geri Halliwell brought up 19-month-old Bluebell Madonna.

Even six-month-old Beau, daughter of Emma Bunton, did not escape being hauled up while the girls cavorted on stage dressed in figure hugging, sparkling Roberto Cavalli outfits.

Melanie Brown seemed particularly impressed with Cruz's spontaneous performance, and stopped singing to laugh out aloud.

The tour, it was recently announced, is about to come to a rather-too abrupt end.

When the group announced they were reforming last June, shows were scheduled for five continents, although the tour appears to have run out of steam after just two.

The band blamed family commitments for their decision to cancel dates in Sydney Beijing, Cape Town and Buenos Aires although rumours of in-fighting are thought to be behind the move.

The last show will now be in Toronto on February 26th.

Owen Wilson back at work

LOS ANGELES - Owen Wilson is going back to work for the first time since his reported suicide attempt last summer.

Wilson, 39, and co-star Jennifer Aniston begin shooting March 10 on 20th Century Fox's "Marley & Me," the studio said. It tells the tale of a couple who adopt a dog to give parenthood a trial run, then find the mischievous pooch more than they bargained for.

After he was hospitalized last August, Wilson dropped out of this summer's comedy "Tropic Thunder," which already had been in production. He was replaced by Matthew McConaughey.

Due out Christmas Day, "Marley & Me" is directed by David Frankel and based on the book by John Grogan. Alan Arkin co-stars.

Who Set Up the Angelina Jolie & Jennifer Aniston Oscars Clash?

The tabloids are fill of 'woe is Jennifer Aniston' stories as the weekly magazine's seem to be setting up for the next big payday if Angelina Jolie is really preggers and decides to again sell her next baby's photos. But everyone seems extra excited about some possible showdown at the Night Before pre-Oscar bash this upcoming weekend.

Who Set Up the Angelina Jolie & Jennifer Aniston Oscars Clash?

So who set up the possible showdown and who benefits? Star Magazine claims that in part the meeting was arranged "in part" by "Hollywood mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg, one of the event's main sponsors." I wonder how accurate that is. Angelina and Brad have agreed to co-host the party and might show up and the magazine notes that Jen has been attending the gala for several years, with and without Brad, 44, and she promised to co-host long before her ex and his lover signed on.

***

Jolie and Pitt seem to pull the Jennifer Aniston arrow out of the quiver anytime they need press and an insider tells Star magazine that "Jennifer is furious." The magazine insider claims that "Jennifer is on good terms with Brad, but she vowed to never, ever meet Angelina face-to-face." In the terms of cities, Hollywood really isn't all that big, especially for the A-listers, and frankly it is a miracle that the threesome have never stumbled into each other before this point.

The boring Oscars show would get a boost for this, if it were on Sunday night. As it is "The Night Before" it seems to do little for the program. Jolie and Pitt have nothing to promote as Jolie was shut out of what many believed would be her big night with an Oscar win for "A Mighty Heart." Aniston is working in a film right now in Canada but she won't benefit either. It will be interesting to see who actually shows up, but other than that, who benefits?
